I am a visual artist born and raised in Portland, OR, and now reside in Houston, TX. My work is rooted in imagination as both resistance and liberation. I build worlds where life is expansive, surreal, and unapologetically alive. Places where the rules bend, time folds, and wonder belongs to us without question. I’m interested in what happens when you strip away the limits placed on our creativity and let curiosity lead. The result is a visual language that blends Afrofuturism, surrealism, folklore, and dream logic into narratives that challenge how we see ourselves and the worlds we move through. Across every medium I touch, my goal is the same: build visual stories that inspire and empower. I want viewers to feel seen, challenged, affirmed, and invited to explore their own sense of possibility. My practice is my contribution to the ongoing tradition of Black artists reshaping how the world perceives us and how we perceive ourselves.
