Howdy! My name is Elisa Garfinkel, but I go by Miso. I started my creative journey in 2013 in Dallas, Texas! Some of my very first pop up shows were in the Deep Ellum area at Cafe Momentum! I still have family in Dallas and visit Deep Ellum annually. I now live in Jacksonville, Florida. I have been on a mission since the age of 5. After wearing my mothers mood ring from the 1970's, I was determined to make my own color changing stones. Once I figured out the methods of working with Thermochromics (temperature activated mediums) I was mesmerized and hooked! I started Mood Sea Glass™ 3 years ago and began spoiling the jewelry world with a new and creative gemstone. All one of a kind and activated between 60 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I only use Stainless Steel, Sterling Silver, and non tarnish materials for these very special stones. Fun for ALL ages!

What does Deep ellum mean to me?

Unity. Come one, come all. Deep Ellum has always been a safe zone for flying my creative spirit. It is a place that embraces and encourages everyone to step a little out of their day to day comfort zones and support each others art. From a young age I enjoyed concerts, art festivals, and great food in Deep Ellum! It is the CULTURE of Dallas, Texas to me.
