My connection to the Deep Ellum community comes through my work in the Dallas music and arts scene as a DJ, performer, and event producer. I’m one of the founders of Venus Collective, which focuses on uplifting female and femme artists across music, performance, and live events. Through Venus Collective, we regularly organize events that bring together DJs, fire performers, visual artists, and other creatives to build immersive experiences and strengthen the local creative community. Over the past few years we’ve had the opportunity to support and book dozens of artists across our events, creating more space for women and emerging performers to share their work. We would love the opportunity to bring some of our Venus Collective DJs out to perform and contribute to the creative energy that Deep Ellum is known for. Our goal is always to support and amplify the local arts scene while creating welcoming spaces for both artists and audiences.
