My name is Shane Anderson, and I’m a painter whose work focuses on bold color, texture, and abstract forms. I create with acrylics and mixed media, layering paint and experimenting with palette knives, brushes, and other tools to build depth and movement. My paintings often strike a balance between structure and spontaneity, allowing the process itself to guide the final composition. While abstract, many of my pieces suggest elements of landscapes, horizons, or light, leaving space for viewers to connect their own interpretations and experiences. What I enjoy most about showing my art is the chance to connect with people and see how they respond to it. Every person brings a unique perspective, and I love when my work sparks conversation or creates a moment of reflection. Deep Ellum Art Fair would be an exciting opportunity to share my paintings with a wider audience, be part of a vibrant creative community, and continue to grow as an artist through new experiences and connections.
