I am a classically trained sign painter, but a self-taught fine artist. I create circus banners and poster-style art based on contemporary mythology, folklore and legends. I have formulated my own paint that can be used for lettering and striping and behaves like one-shot sign painter's enamel. These carnival-style banners are created from repurposed canvas drop cloths and painted with recycled tinted house paint - all salvaged materials from my set and sign painting days on Hollywood movie sets. I also created all of the circus banners for American Horror Story, “Freakshow” series.
