I have a BFA from Alfred University in Western New York. I focused on ceramics and glass. Slip casting was always a process I really enjoyed. Sometimes shapes are too intricate to replicate. Or perhaps you want mimic the exact shape and texture of something but in a different material. The cantaloupes rough outside texture and vibrant orange interior inspired me to take an impression of it. The results were so great that I decided to make all different ceramic fruit and veggie bowls!
