I am the artist behind Sardonic Sloth Art. Three years ago, I uprooted myself and everything I knew to pursue my passion. Some would think that my passion is my art, and though they are not wrong, they are half wrong. My passion is connecting with people on an intellectual, empathetic, emotional level, through my art. Painting something to have someone drop their shoulders in a "me too" realization of familiarity, is what I aim for. And though my art may be "weird", or "out-there", those painted bold lines speak justice for everyone who hasn't had the courage to do so themselves; The bright colors run for the goals we are accomplishing, AND the tears we have cried. And those weird multi-eyed humanoids? Well, they very well may be the reflection we see in the mirror when we dont dare to look at. In short: I create bold, pop-art inspired illustrations that mix humor, color, and honesty to explore real emotions and the messy parts of being human. I am the creator of Sardonic Sloth Art.
