I have served as an art educator with love and passion for many years. Two years ago, I started to seriously focus on my own art as a way to cope with the growing pressures that were emerging in the classroom. I found that making art again (not just for class demonstrations) was doing wonders for my stress level and happiness. I kept moving forward, changing, challenging myself to deep dive into this business as a path to continue making art. My passion shifted from the classroom to the studio. Choosing the less safe route has it’s challenges, but the consequence of choosing a life of creativity has been well worth it.
