Formed in 2013, The Robot Bonfire is a result of music veterans Josh Watkins, Jason Davis, and Jimmy Huckle who bring with them a heritage of notable bands such as Judah, Glisten, and Between Thieves. Combining their musical influences together for a unique and original sound, The Robot Bonfire has become a melting pot of honesty and mystery weaving catchy melodies with warm and eerie tones underlined with hefty riffs. Digital programming, hard hitting drums, punching bass, and spooky guitars create a fresh style of alternative/indie rock that pushes you out of your paradigm. Album releases include their debut “The Robot Bonfire” on Digital Fish Media in 2017, “Circuitry” on Bently Records in 2020, and a series of singles putting their spin on some of their favorite covers. Their next release from Digital Fish Media, “Fever Dream”, is set to release in the fall of 2024.Hailing from the Dallas, Texas area, the band has made appearances all over the southern U.S. and has been featured repeatedly on 97.1 KEGL the Eagle and iHeart Radio.
