In 2011, at the age of 54, I built my studio and started making art. In 2020, I left my job in the construction business and started making art full time. Primarily I make sculptures with concrete, wood, steel, glass and various material. Most of my pieces are wall but I also make free standing sculptures as well

What does Deep ellum mean to me?
I have lived in the Dallas area my whole life. We started going to Deep Ellum back in the 80's when it first became club, restaurant and shopping destination. Through the years I have been in Deep Ellum for concerts, meals and shopping. Have done quite a few projects down there when I was in the construction business. Recently I have been showing art there as well. Just a great place for many things.
