What does Deep ellum mean to me?
Having grown up just north of Dallas (Richardson), Depp Ellum was always the "cool" placed to go hang out. As soon as my friends and I were old enough, we would hop on the DART and ride it all the way down to Deep Ellum feeling like the world was at our fingertips. So many fun times were had from my teens and into my 20s. Now as I am older and have learned about the rich history within this community my love for it has only deepened. Deep Ellum will forever be my favorite neighborhood in Dallas.
